Rodarte had very new shapes in this collection, including this beautiful dress. It made me think of the Middle Ages because of the gold corset, but the fabric is so light, so sheer and so abundant at the bottom that it transforms in a fairytale. I loved how the satin reflected the light and how the corset caught it.
What did you think of this dress, like it or isn’t it modern enough (or too much)?

Dat zou ik wel in mijn kast willen hebben!
I adore this style, love the mix of faux-chain looking corset played over the floaty skirts! You did a super drawing of it!
Thank you, spent houres on that light fabric… But it paid off apparently
Love it. Ik vind die invloed van de Middeleeuwen gaaf!
Rodarte’s stuff is always amazing!
There’s nothing I don’t adore about this,wow honey!;)

Another gorgeous illustration by Manon Heine – I was so excited to see she had chosen to illustrate my favourite look from Rodarte’s Spring 2013 RTW collection!
